I wanted to take a moment and applaud Aachen Auto and its responsive team that I worked with today. A bit of background, my daughter is returning to college in Lansing, desperate to locate a replacement for a bad aluminum wheel on her car. She looked all over, and then found Aachen Auto. She located the wheel she needed, very easily via your efficient web site. She sent an email and promptly received a follow up call from one of your employee’s (“Shawnee”), who gave my daughter an update as to the availability of the part and cost. I drove down to your company today for the wheel, and was greeted by “Shawnee”, who not only remembered speaking with my daughter but also had my daughter’s request in her hand. “Shawnee” not only verified that the correct wheel was available in your computer system, but also asked one of her fellow employee’s to verify the physical existence of the part in the yard. The wheel was quickly located, and “Shawnee” coordinated having my new tire switched to the new wheel. While the tire was being mounted, another employee stepped up and we were able to pay for the part while waiting. I did not get the name of the employee that prepared the wheel/tire, but when the wheel was ready he asked to help put the wheel in our trunk. While I was waiting, they continued to help other customers. Very productive. After an hours ride, I had arrived at 4:30 pm today. By 5:00 pm I was pulling out of your parking lot with a new wheel on my tire.. On the way home, all we could talk about was the professional service we just received from the staff at Aachen Auto, versus the lack of service that has become so common. At any point of transaction today things could have went bad. Instead everything was done to 110% satisfaction, solely because of your team. Having recently retried, I was unable to stop the process and sadly watched as the customer service and professionalism eroded at my old company. The company had once been a strong fortune 500 giant, but no more. It got lost somewhere. I am a true believer that if you treat a customer badly just once, you have lost them for life as well as a dozen future customers that they tell. Aachen Auto? I plan to do business again with your company, and will tell everyone about the service we experienced for our automotive needs. The folks I worked with today at Aachen Auto not only went above and beyond to help, but they truly seemed to enjoy what they were doing. Whatever you’re doing to keep such a quality staff, keep it up!
